Alef Education showcases the power of AI and data in transforming education at GESS Dubai 2021

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Alef Education, a leading global education technology provider that empowers 21-st century learning, today announced its participation at the Middle East's premier education event, GESS Dubai 2021, which is taking place November 14-16 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The pandemic underscored the importance of embracing innovative education technologies as the widespread school closures across the globe impacted 1.5 billion students, according to UNESCO. Region's first live, interactive networking business event of H2 2020 On 16 July, Dubai World Trade Centre hosted the Ai Everything x Restart Dubai Summer Conference, the MEASA region's first live, in-person business event to be hosted in H2 2020, driving forward the resumption of the global events sector. Showcasing the profound effect of artificial intelligence on the UAE's pandemic recovery, the event also exemplified how participating entities, technologies and prototypes can revolutionise the country's private sector and its growth prospects in the coming years. Dubai World Trade Centre implemented comprehensive regulatory protective measures at the venue, including temperature screening, social distancing, contactless transactions and hygiene protocols, with all upcoming events set to be conducted similarly in a highly controlled manner to ensure adherence to the strictest health and safety protocols for public wellbeing. Cutting edge technology and innovation will be adopted as the official show theme for Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2019, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 28 April – 1 May 2019. According to the latest research conducted by Colliers International, personalisation Artificial Intelligence (AI) could increase hotel revenues by over 10 percent and reduce costs by more than 15 percent – with hotel operators expecting technology such as voice and facial recognition, virtual reality and biometrics to be mainstream by 2025. Further to this, the research estimates 73 percent of manual activities in the hospitality industry have the technical potential for automation, with many global hotel operators including Marriott, Hilton, and Accor already investing in automating elements of their human resources. Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, said: "It is important to highlight that the GCC is one of the fastest growing regional hospitality markets on a global scale and an innovative technology-reliant industry. "Its impact on hotels and travel and tourism is multi-dimensional, ranging from voice and facial recognition, chatbots and beacon technology to virtual reality, blockchain and robot concierge.
